You may use our frameworks to generate prompts for your own projects. You are prohibited from using automated scripts to scrape our content, reverse-engineering our platform, or using our Service to facilitate illegal activities.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The specific text, examples, design, and visual layout of this website are © Prompt Foundry. The underlying prompt-engineering frameworks (CRAFT, RISE, CO-STAR, CARE, TAG) are widely-known techniques and are not the intellectual property of Prompt Foundry — we have only written one explanation of each, not invented them. You retain full ownership of any text you type into the builder and the final assembled prompts you generate, and you may use those prompts freely.

4. User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree that you are solely responsible for:

  • The content and inputs you provide into the prompt generator.
  • Ensuring your use of generated prompts complies with the terms of service of the third-party AI platforms you submit them to (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).
  • Not using the Service to generate prompts designed to produce illegal, harmful, highly offensive, or malicious content.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prompt Foundry and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or the outcomes produced by third-party AI systems using our generated prompts.

6. Third-Party Content

AI providers: Some features of the Service may pass your input to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) in order to generate a response. Their terms apply to any content you submit through those features.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page, with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
